He first appears in the State of Louisiana, Parish of East Baton Rouge, City of Baton Rouge on the 27th of August 1850 Federal Census as:

Mary Bon age 30 La.
John Grigsby age 13 La.
Francis Litchfield age 3, La. Male
Francis Pouceliver age 8, La. Male

They were living next door to the Clemille DAIGLE and Joseph HERNANDEZ families. according to the 1850 Federal Census, this puts his birth about 1820.He is not listed in the 1880 census, putting his death between 1864-1880.

Mary BON must have died between July 1850 and May 1853.
Did a quick look 186-1876 only show 1- POUSALVERT Frances married Marie Louise BERNIE (Prior civil Marriage) and then 2 children born to them:
Frances born 1/18/1870
Jean born 2/8/1868
Antoine Pousse Albert Jr's mother listed as Marie Langney in WBR parish Marriage records. and as Marie Songuez. listed as Marie Sanquez on original marriage license dated May 1853.
He next show's up in West Baton Rouge Parish, community of Brusle Landing in the year 1853, as Antoine Pousse ALBET Jr. marrying on May 16. On the marriage license issued He wed Rosalia Laurenza BROUSSARD born 1832 died (d/o Laurent and Marcelline LEBLANC).(SJB Brusly La, 117) witnesses were John Caneva, Laurent Broussard, Florestin Bourgoyne. Her birth record as listed in the Baton Rouge Catholic Diocese Books. Witnesses for the Marriage License were Laurent Broussard (father of the bride) and John Caneva. |
